Ammoudi bay and the beach is one of the best places to see when visiting Santorini. Ti unique port is one of the most picturesque ports, and it is located on the foot of Oia.
This small port was used for trading goods since ancient times, from merchands that exported wine and other local products.
During the most recent years, it has become one of the most interesting attractions in Santorini, offering a variety of fish restaurants and of course the unique colorful waters.
It is easily accessible either by a 10-minute drive from Oia or by descending many-many stairs from the top side of the Oian Caldera side. The latter will definitely take longer, but you will be satisfied with the final view of the port.
